Fifa 11 is for sure really different from older versions of Football games by EA sports and it has drastic improvements although I am able to make some Shots very possible.

Be sure you do not make long range attempts as they make no sense. There is very minimum probability of making goals from a long range shoots.
Do not attempt long range corners as they may go in vain.
